When it was inaugurated in 1908, Germany’s Laeiszhalle was the largest and most modern concert hall in Germany.  The neo-baroque structure was designed by renowned architects Martin Haller and Erwin Meerwein, and to this day it remains one of the most beautiful structures in Europe.  The hall has hosted some of the world’s most gifted composers and musicians including Richard Strauss, Igor Stravinsky, Yehudi Menuhin, and Maria Callas.  It is estimated that over 400,000 people visit the Laeiszhalle every year.

In 2010, the Laeiszhalle’s granite foundation was beautifully restored through micro-abrasive cleaning. 

This cleaning method removes years of dirt accumulation, unsightly stains, and deteriorating building finishes such as stucco or paint without damaging the surface.  For this job, the contractors chose GMA Garnet™, the preferred abrasive widely used across Europe for a variety of highly visible, culturally sensitive restoration projects.  

Our products delivered excellent results and helped return the Laeiszhalle back to her former glory.
